EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Dr. S. Vasudevan has done his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics (B.Sc), Master of Arts in Economics (M.A.) from the University of Madras, Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy from Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (FCMA) and also a CMA of IMA, USA. His doctorate – Ph.D from Vinayaka Missions University was in the area of Entrepreneurship under the research title “Role of Women in Family Managed Business”. Dr. Vasudevan has about three decades of experience in multi-faceted organizations that include Central Government, Corporate organizations and Educational Institutions. He has handled responsibilities that include Finance and Accounts, Marketing, Project Management, Company Law matters and general administration. Based on his functional roles, he has gained expertise on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Solutions. He has involved himself in forging institutional tie-up and MoUs. Dr. S. Vasudevan is now responsible as Head-Internal Quality Audit Department of Vinayaka Missions University since October 2015. He is a Professor and Dean of Faculty of Management Studies of Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT), a constituent college of Vinayaka Missions University. At AVIT, Dr. Vasudevan had been involved in the Academic, Administrative and Promotional activities of the Institution. He joined Vinayaka Missions University in 2005 as Vice-Principal of the Vinayaka Centennial Canadian Business School (VCBS) – a partnership between Vinayaka Missions University and the Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. Before joining AVIT, he had served ICFAI Business School, Chennai where he had also headed the Consulting Group of IBS Chennai (IBSCG) and was handling academic training for professional courses like CA, ICWAI and ACS in his personal capacity. He has published and presented many Research Papers and has to his credit “EMINENT EDUCATIONIST AWARD” presented by National and International Compendium, New Delhi for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Education. He has been handling workshops, seminars and guest lectures at different institutions for different audience groups.

He has travelled extensively within the country and abroad to Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Sultanate of Oman and UAE for research and promotional activities of the college as well as for handling training programmes.
