ॐ नमो  परमातमन ेनाम : हर ; ॐ 

This उपनष  is known by the name PU, because in this उपनष , six disciples

approach a ग   ु , and each disciple ask a bunch of questions. And one ग   ु  by nameपपलाद :; answers all the questions. So in Tuesday class, नव  योगी  सवाद , it is the

other way round. या  ,disciple is one . नम  राजा . And ग   ु s are 9, नव  योगी ; but

here it is reversed. या s are 6, and one ग   ु  answers. Since each chapter is in the

form of शन  and िवचन  the उपनष  is called शन  िवचन  उपनष  or in as

shortened form शन  उपनष . And the word शन  here doesn’t mean the Kerala

astrology. In Kerala शन ंபகறத சலவ. This is शनोपनष . And inMalayalam the word शन  means problem also. TF here that meaning also should not

be taken. It is neither problem उपनष  not astrology उपनष . It is a series of

spiritual questions and answers. And the उपनष  has got 6 chapters and totally 67

मा :.almost all as big as म   णुडकोपनष . 6 chapters and 67 मा :. And the उपनष  

introduces the ग   ु  and या  in the first mantra to indicate that always, th

knowledge should be received only from a ग   ु  in the form of a dialogue or सवंाद .

Never study the उपनष  by
