Major components are the Financial Rules Engine (FRE), the Reporting Database and MultiView.The FRE is responsible for creating the postings that go in to the ledgers based on the recognition of financial events that are passed to it. The reporting database is a de-normalized copy of the data in a format that provides support for on-line queries and reporting. MultiView is the on-line query tool that accesses the reporting database.Responsibilities:

Current NCDI consists of star schema for reporting, data retrieval and data distribution. It also contains Data acquisition from multiple systems and sources, Interface layer for multiple sources standardizations and Integration layer utilizing dimension keys translation and column precedence.

Module Title: FXSellOffTechnology: Excel VBA, SQL Server 2005.Role: DeveloperScope: FX Sell Off is a month end process being carried out by Product Controllers to sell down all FX related exposure that Nomura (HQ) would be exposed to in that month. This process was initially being run from an Access database.

However, due to lack of controls and insufficient reporting details in it, the complete process was automated using Excel VBA and SQL Server 2005 technologies.Module Title: Data Extractor CTP replacement for XLA.Technology: C#.net, SQL Server 2005.Role: DeveloperScope: In the current scenario, the Data Extractor XLA points to the original MS Access versions. In the new world all the tables will be stored in SQL Server and all the VBA version controls will be replaced by Excel 2007 CTP (Custom Task Panes) using C#.net user control.

Project Title: PALS Holiday Marking. Client: Lehman Brothers Holding Inc. Technology: Sybase, PL/SQL, UNIX. Role: Database Developer.Scope: PALS server, used by the New York IB team gets automated feed from various departments on normal working days. The main objective of PALS Holiday Marking was to send an automated dummy feed to the PALS Server on Bank Holidays so that the Autosys Jobs doesn’t goes on Hold.

January 2008 – July 2008 with Flexcel International as an Associate Consultant

Project Title: Database Migration. Client: Centurion Bank of Punjab (CBOP). Technology: Oracle9i, PL/SQL. Role: Oracle Developer. Scope: Erstwhile Lord Krishna Bank (ELKB) has merged with CBOP, Mumbai. ELKB was running in FlexCube. A major challenge on this amalgamation was the integration of their existing software, FLEXCUBE 5.7 with the core banking solution of CBOP (FINACLE 7.0.11). Migration Strategy was drafted clearly taking into consideration of all the problems and consequences and based on this strategy an extraction tool was developed in PL/SQL.

Project Title: Load Testing.Client: Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd (FICC).Technology: Oracle9i, PL/SQL.Role: Oracle Developer.Scope: FICC plans to conduct load test exercise for various systems to ascertain hardware sizing pattern for various systems. This Project is basically aimed to provide an early warning indicator of problems and effectiveness of corrective action and also to provide an input to resource planning viz. right sizing the hardware and its deployment timing.

Project Title: Iflex-IBM Load Testing Benchmark Activity.Client: Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd (FICC).Technology: Oracle9i, PL/SQL.Role: Oracle Developer.Scope: Performed a benchmark activity at IBM, Bangalore.
