The creator of the universe is the real king who is beyond time, sustainer of the

universe and the greatest who has engage the whole universe in their respective tasks.

When the age liked tenure expires then just like the measuring bucket filled of seeds

are turned upset down into the package and the bucket becomes empty in the same

manner when this physical body becomes empty of breath then the fine body

(sukshem serir) is captured via chains around the neck and driven by the angels of

death (Jamdoot).

Note: Paiea is a scale of measurement of grains by volume which is roughly eight

kilogram in weight (which is now obsolete)

One has obtain fruits (happiness and sadness) in this life time based on the previous

deeds which are known as Prarbhad Karam and the deeds performed during the life

time in reaction to the predetermined actions are known as Kiriaman Karam which

adds-on to the collected deeds known as Senchit Karam will determine the fruits in

In his command Almighty destroys and after demolishing he then reconstructs the

whole universe creation.

Sri Guru says dear brother recognise the weep of whom is crying in the love of

Almighty. Other worldly person only cries for worldly materials, such weep is useless.

Means that one should always love Almighty and wish to be in his presence all the

time by reciting His name such effort is fruitful whereas the ones who cries in the

desire to obtain more and more wealth would only indulge himself in greater pains

therefore such efforts made in lifetime would only be regretable as one misses the

goal of life.

The weep (cry) of the whole world is worthless as it is only meant for the maya

(mammon, wealth) as human has forgotten the reality and astrayed from the true

path.

Human has become ignorant in differentiating between the good and bad therefore

the body (lifetime) is wasted.

Whoever has taken birth to join this world will definately leave upon death then why

should ever one be proud of his worldly possessions.

Guru Ji says, dear brother! the weep which is in the pains of separation from

Almighty is fruitful.

Means that the main and the only reason to be born in this world is to recite

Almighty’s Name and spend most of the lifetime in remembering Almighty rather

then being proud of worldly materials (body, family, wealth), Guru Ji then reminds

that the ultimate destination of life is to be free from all worldly attachments and

always maintain every effort towards reuniting with Almighty.

Dear People! never say that death is bad if only one knows how to die. There are very

rare people who understand death in its actual context. One only lives when there are

worldly desires and death is when there is no more desires therefore death of this

physical body is only painful for those who have unfulfilled desires till the last breath

with a hope to fulfill them. Therefore such person then travels into the reincarnation

cycle and in each birth new desires are then created which makes this cycle endless.

Guru Ji then explains the escape route in the second line as follows.

Serve the Master who is capable in performing all the tasks (Samrath-all powerful

Almighty) so that the route of the next world (after death) becomes easy.

Through the easy way, which is serving (remembering) Almighty in this life time one

Guru Ji explains that true happiness in this world and honour in the next world can

only be attained by reciting Almighty’s Name which unites all beings and supreme

happiness and honours are just for short while which can always go against the

Death of those warriors is true who dies after being acceptable and those are

recognized as warriors who are honoured in the Almighty’s court.

Guru Ji explains that the true worrior is the one who sacrifices himself willingly

without any sought of claim or recognition with a real life example of a worrior in

battlefield Guru Ji explains that a person who sacrifices all his desires is a true warrior

who willingly dies from all the worldly desires and remembers Almighty’s Name.

Such fortunate ones are warmly honoured in the Almighty’s Court.

imagination therefore their their death is the truth as they reunite with Almighty.

Guru Ji explained that even death which is feared by all living being becomes truth

(bliss) by abandoning all the desires from this world to heaven which then enables

Almighty creates mammon (maya) through which all the creations is brought into

surface of the stomach -technical name umbilicus) without

tongue merely from a click of thought (just like a press of

Dear True Creator, when your command comes upon the living beings to depart

The angels of death has to perform in accordance to commands in the line of duty

therefore the angel of death never differentiate between the beautiful and the ugly

In accordance to the deeds performed by this jeev (being), Ishwer (the form of

Almighty when he is the creator of maya) has granted the pains and pleasures which

In reality whatever happens through the jeev’s (being) deeds in this universe is always

performed by the creator himself therefore this jeev (being) should always performed

deeds that are inaccordance to the creators wish and not by any other source of

influence like mind, intellect, memory or self-existence.

This means that the jeev (being) should always remember that there is only one

creator which is Almighty himself and jeev (being) should never ever know himself as

the creator in order to escape from the trap of deeds which stay along with the soul

until this jeev undergoes the pains and pleasures. Guru Ji has explained the only way

of escaping from performing deeds are through realizing that all the happenings is in

the will of the creator and we are receiving all the sorrows and joy in according to our

previously performed deeds therefore we should never blaim others by accusing them

of being responsible of our pains and pleasures.

In additional to the post-death path, Guru Ji says that there will be no one to serve

food nor cold water with love and there will be no costumes nor means of

beautifications.

The path is such that self belonging refuge is never seen in order to estimate the end

of the path or to built hope for salvation and the neck is tied with heavy chains while

the angel of death standing high above the head and hits the head continuously.

Dear brother, the true weep (cry) is known for those who meet in the true

(mammon) acknowledges all the trades of the world to be true and weeps for the lost

or in greed for more worldly materials.

Those who weeps for worldly trades will never wash the dirt of sins accumulated

from deeds performed for the fulfillment of desires which sticks on their Antahkaran

and such people are always trapped in this materialistic world which is just like a

dream means that this world is not permenant as this life is just like a sleep during the

night and all that we experience from our sensors are merely a dream which will

definitely came to an end once we are awaken.

In this manner the whole world is cheated by the ego of false materials just like those

audiences who forgets the world in illusion while watching a movie, in the same

manner jeev (being) has forgotten Almighty in this false materialistic world created

by the maya’s illusions.

In conclusion of this shabad (hymn) Guru Ji shows the way to obtain salvation from

this illusionary materialistic world in which every jeev’s (being) life is bonded by

their previous deeds for which all has came to this world to go through their deeds

(karam) by happiness, sorrow, gain and lost.

Almighty himself places everyone on the path and he makes everyone to perform

deeds means that we should realize that Almighty is the master and director who puts

all the jeev (being) on their respective path and provides the necessary in order for

the jeev (being) to implement their deeds means that we should not blame or accuse

anyone for the pains that we go through in life as our fate has been determined even

before we was born therefore we should always stay contented in Almighty’s will.

Guru Ji says, those who are imbued (merged) in Almighty’s name are saved by the

true Guru and they are blessed with calm character which means that the fortunate

ones are those who recites Almighy’s name and stay calm in all situations that may

arise from effect of their deeds (karma) and instead our being overpowered by their

emosions they accept the Almighty’s Will delightedly.

Birth and death is the greatest separation among the jeev’s (being) and separation

from Almighty (whereby the birth and death is a route that jeev travels through

various lifes and builds more and more desires) by which the whole world jeev’s

(being) are being destroyed in a manner that the jeev’s are subjected to a

reincarnation cycle again and again.

Under the influence of Maya (mammon) the whole world is immersed in the greed of

trade (in earning more and more wealth without containment) and forgotten the

truth (Almighty) therefore he do not realize the death which is standing above his

head and shouting loudly.

Four types of people;

1. Pamar - The ones who do not joint true congregation (SatSangat), never

practice the faith and completely blind folded by ignorance. Day

and night in spent in evil activities and recognizes this world as

true and attaches for pleasures. This kind of people is dropped in

the hell.

2. Vishei - Those who perform good virtues merely with intention to obtain

heaven, kingdom, et cetra.

3. Jegiasu - Those who meditates without any intentions (desirelessly)

4. Gianwan - Those who has obtained salvation. The illusion of this world is no

longer exists. They only see Almighty within the creation and

reside in bliss. There is difference between them and Almighty.

Four (4) Types of Devotees;

1. Kenisht Devotee - The ones whose mind wonder extensively during meditation

3. Utam Devotee - The ones whose mind always standstills in meditation. Peace

is obtained.

4. Srest Devotee - The ones who have merged with Almighty.

united ones, what more is to be united?

However for those who are leaded by their mind (Manmukh) has strayed away from

are leaded by the True Guru’s teachings (Gurmukh) lives their life in utmost bliss

while practicing the truth (true game).

Such Gurmukh’s will never go through the wicked path of the angel of death as their

Antahkaran has been filled with Guru Ji’s hymns (which also means they are

immersed in Almighty) and their form shall remains merged in Almighty for ages by

ages (means forever).

Therefore joint the company of the pious ones (saint) because their company in

known to be beneficial as they have obeyed all their Guru’s teaching and practiced

truthfully by which all their maya (mammon) bondages has been broken. In the

company such saint one will only be encouraged to meditate and guided to practice

the Guru Ji’s teachings without any influence of maya.

Almighty has written himself while sitting down (means exactly without any

changes) the nectar (pleasure, joy) and poison (sorrow, pain) in this jeev’s life time

The sorcerer maya (mammon) has charmed the jeev by putting multi-coloured thread

around the neck means that maya has created various impressive attachements to

bind jeev (being) in worldly affairs.

This ignorant jeev (being) with the shallow intellect goes to fulfill his desires but

unfortunetely the desires consume him just like a fly which goes to eat brown sugar

block (Gurr) unknowingly the sugar block is still wet and the fly drowns into the

brown sugar block, in the same manner this jeev (being) goes to with intention of

obtaing pleasure but instead of pleasure he ends up being a victim of his own desire.

This is proven in today’s world that among lots of other effects lust causes AIDS,

anger causes hypertention, greed traps, attachment causes heart attack and ego causes

disappointments.

The jeev (being) is born naked in this world without any dignity and then in the same

way he departs naked from this world.

In actual fact, no one dies with the dead person, all of them who weeps in sadness for

the separation of physical body keeps quiet (means stops crying) after some time,

however the ones who weeps in Almighty’s fear while remembering his virtues are

great as they release themselves from the worldly attachments means that they obtain

salvation by weeping in the pain of separation with Almighty while the ones who

cries or a dead person do not achieve anything.

Sri Guru Ji says that the ones who remembers and meditates on the True Name

(Almighty’s Name), those are acknowledged as the wisest person in all ages (forever)

through. Guru Ji explains that the only achievement of this life is to recite, remember

and meditate on Almighty’s Name.

Ignorance is the main cause for one to have the fear of death which remains standing

on the head. Death is like a flame of fire which is burning the whole world and its

materials just like dried grass to ashes. Therefore to hope for life in this deathful

world is foolish act. Life time depends on the breath which is cutting the life like a

double edged saw. To be egoistic on this ever finishing life and be proud of wealth

and blinded in power is not wise. One should spend the priceless breath in Almighty’s

meditation, knowledge and attach-less from worldly materials. By which this short

time of life can be joyful and salvation is obtained thereafter.
