Imipramine

Acute dystonia in a child: case reportAn 8-year-old boy developed acute dystonia following

treatment with imipramine for nocturnal enuresis. The boywas found to have significant torticollis, on assessment. Hewas receiving imipramine 10 mg/day [route not stated] fornocturnal enuresis; a muscular neck spasm developed 3 daysafter beginning imipramine. Biperiden was initiated withresolution of torticollis after 45 minutes.
