CURRENT SITUATION

. WEATHER UPDATE: The provinces of Benguet, Mt province and

lfugao are experiencing rains due to enhanced SW monsoon rains.This situation poses challenges to the scheduled field damageassessment today.

* . LANDSLIDES - there were no report of major landslide incident.Minor landslides and rocKall caused the road closures and damageto some houses.

o FLA$H FLOOD - only one (1) flash flood incident was reported atBrgy City Camp, Baguio City. Flood waters already subsided.

EVACUATED FAMILIES - other evacuated families already returnedto their homes.

o DAMAGE ASSE$SEMENT: All 6 provinces and 2 cities will be

conducting field damage assessment today. Provincial/ CityDamage Assessment teams will be deployed by the Provincial/ CityGovernors and Chairman P/CDRRMC today. Damage assessmentwillfocus on infrastructure and agriculture.

e POWER OUTAGES: Areas with reported power outages are

already restored since 4PM August 13, 2A13

. GOMMUNICATION: Globe Communication signal

FINANCIAL ASSISTANGE: OCD-CAR will extend today a

10,000.00 financial assistance to the bereaved family of one (1)dead casualty : JOMAR SALICONG

o ROAD CLEARING. DPWH, and , ,local engineering office is

continuously conduction road clearing operations. (TAB D)

o BENGUET 3 roads are . qlosed to traffic. These aresecondary roads of the province. DPWH and Benguetprovinicla engineering office are conducting road clearingoperations.
