    Introduction to Wood VeneerThis class is an introduction to the world of veneering. The class covers thebasics including: the nature and production of wood veneer; and much more.

    Painting with Tissue PaperStudents will discover various tissue paper collage techniques to "paint" beauti-ful pieces. The bleeding tissue technique, cut paper collage, and grid-styleare just a few techniques that will be covered.

    Bakers Dozen Cuff

    Adorn your wrist with this primitive hammered sterling silver bracelet. The work-hardened wires rearrange themselves and jingle as you move. A very simple,honest execution guarantees you will be wearing yours by the end of the class!

    Surface Design and Functional WareThis is a handbuilt functional ware ceramics class. Students will learn tech-

    niques, glazes and use various tools to manipulate the surface of clay beforeand after construction.

    Techniques in PaintingInterested in exploring painting techniques and ways to compose a painting?This class leads students through the basics towards more advanced paintingskills. Students will work on brush handling, color mixing, drawing, value,shape, color and design and slowly go from simple to more difficult projects.

    Decoupage JewelryLearn the art of decoupage whilecreating fresh unique jewelry pieces.

    This workshop will make use ofdecorative papers to create uniquependants and beads using decorativepapers.

    Design by MosaicThis hands on mosaic workshop willinstruct participants in recycling theirown materials such as chipped ceramics, tea cups, shells, broken jewelry andfound objects into a unique one of a kind mosaic mirror or panel that can behung on the wall or turned into a table top.
