The next Goddess is Chamunda. Chamunda Shava Vahana - she lives in cemeteries, rides on corpse, bringing into life. Propiciating of this war Goddess Chamundra, who isa form of Chandi, absolutely controls all evils done by others to you and eliminates that evil.Chamunda is helpful for this.

Mahalakshmi is the wealth of Srimannarayana. She is the cosmic awareness which shunspettiness in every aspect. So, she represents the infinite wealth of the Lord and to removepoverty of all kinds - Ashta vidha Aishwaryas, Ashta Lakshmis - are all under her control andthey all obey her commands. Appropriate to propiciate her to get a feel for the spiritualwealth of the Lord. She not only gives material benefits but also gives the right frame ofmind to take you to the oceanic, infinite antaryami consciousness, wealth and enjoyment of theLord. An attitude that welcomes riches and organisation, and rejects slovenliness brings Her close toyou.

These are the eight Matrukas. Brahmi is in East. Maheshwari to South, Kowmari to West,Vaishnavi to North, Varahi to South East, Mahendri to Southwest, Chamunda to North Westand Maha Lakshmi to North East. These goddesses are located in the middle square enclosure ofthe Sri Yantra. It is good to do Abhishekam to these Goddesses in the Sri Yantra.Sri chakra is the abode of 108 Shaktis. We're picking these 8 from them. The procedure fordoing Abhishekam to them can be found in the mantras given here.

Basically the idea is there is an Avarana Mantra "am Am souH" followed by the name of thename of the Goddess and Namaha at the end.

"aim hrIm srIm am Am souH brAhmI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH mAheSwarI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH kowmArI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH vaiSnavI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH vArAhI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH mAhEndrI mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH cAmundA mAtrE namaH""aim hrIm srIm am Am souH mahA LakSmI mAtrE namaH"

The eight corners of the Srichakra in the square enclosure have to be worshipped. The simplest form of worship can be using Panchamruta, and putting a spoon ofpanchamruta on these spots with each of these mantras. If you want a particular result, you can make a corresponding sankalpa and worship that Goddess 108 times for 40 days.

These are the general hints for the people who dont have time but still want to getthe maximum benefit which will help them to light up the path of their lives.
