Toxic encephalopathy: case reportA 27-year-old man underwent surgery for an anal fissure

with bupivacaine [Marcain] epidural anaesthesia [dosage andduration of therapy not stated]. Several hours later he hadneurological deterioration with headache, nausea, vomiting,paraesthesia and limb weakness. Some days later he hadepileptic seizures.
