Various toxicities following spinal anaesthesia:case report
A 28-year-old woman received bupivacaine 8.5mg andfentanyl 20µg as spinal anaesthesia for caesarian section and,1 hour after anaesthesia, she developed left-sided Horner’ssyndrome with blepharoptosis, miosis and enophtalmus [sic].At the same time, she also had lacrimation, rhinorrhoea andconjunctival injection on the contralateral side. Spontaneousresolution of her contralateral trigeminal parasympatheticmanifestations and Horner’s syndrome occurred within8 hours.Lavi R.
