Hepatotoxicity in an elderly patient: case reportAn 83-year-old man was admitted 4 days after beginning
treatment with citalopram 20 mg/day [route not stated] forsuspected depression. Investigations revealed an AST of1 516 U/L, ALT of 1 155 U/L, GGT of 111 U/L, alkalinephosphatase of 222 U/L, and LDH of 2 324 U/L. Citalopramwas withdrawn and his aminotransferase levels normalisedin 5 days.
