The woman presented with sudden-onset erythema, and was hospitalised. Six months before hospitalisation, she had started citalopram 10 mg/day [route not stated]. Three days later, she had developed a rash on her back, which had resolved within 2 weeks with cortisone cream treatment. Citalopram had been withdrawn after 3 months, but was restarted at a dose of 20mg [frequency not stated] in the following months. Two days later, she developed pruritic erythema, with blisters and infiltrates on her trunk, fever and malaise. Histological and laboratory findings were consistent with SCLE. After citalopram was withdrawn, her fever, malaise and rash resolved. She subsequently started mirtazapine treatment.
