GENERAL PREDICTIONS INTRODUCTION This report describes the influence of planets on your character and life. Astrology is a sciencepropounded by ancient sages with its foundation on Karma and Rebirth Theory. Any mental, verbal orphysical action is known as Karma. Every action or Karma produces its reaction. This is same asNewton's 3rd law of motion in physical science that for every action there is an equal and oppositereaction.' Herethe crime committed is so simple that the person can be excused on his humble petition. 3.ADRUDHA KARMA. This is a crime of negligible and insignificant nature. A young boy tries to plucksome fruits from a tree overhanging to the road. When the owner notes the boy and whistles, the boyretreats from his attempt. This is similar to the karmas coming under this group. Here the boy had anevil thought but did not commit theft. The Sastras say that the evil effects (reactions) of evil actions done in the previous birth can bemitigated or alleviated by good actions, santi karmas(propetiations), prayers, worship of God, charityetc. But this is applicable to the 2nd and 3rd types of karmas only. The 1st type is irrevocable and itsevil results have to be suffered. If this Divine Law is not available, human beings will lead a haphazardway of life, without fear of anything and loosing all virtues and morals in life. If some bad things arepredicted, one should understand that they are indications of the results of the actions in the previousbirth, and try to alleviate the bad effects by good deeds, prayers, charity, appropriate santi karmas,will power etc. and face the befalling results without getting dejected and cursing the Destiny. Among these the equalhouse division and Sreepathy method of house (bhava) division are mainly used in Indian Astrology.Dr. B.V.Raman,the world famous Astrologer in his book 'A Manual of Hindu Astrology' says that theequal house system appears to yield more satisfactory results. So here the more commonly usedequal house division is adopted. In this the midpoint of the first bhava is the longitude of theAscendant (Lagna) and the midpoints of the successive bhavas will have the same longitude of Lagnain the successive Rasis. Each bhava having a range of 30 deg starts from 15 deg behind the midpoints of each bhava and extends up to 15 deg ahead of the midpoints. A planet whose longitude fallsin the range of a particular bhava is said to be in that bhava and will offer the results of that bhava.Rasi and bhava results of planets are different. Each bhava signifies certain portfolios (aspects) in lifesuch as body, wealth, brothers/sisters, mother etc beginning with Lagna Bhava (first. bhava).
