Company profile : The company is the leading manufacturer of solid rubber and sponge rubber

profiles in India for automotive, industrial and building constructions purposes like weather strips, door seals,

Job profile :

i. To improve & stabilize the existing compound grades & to minimize and remove the

processing problems faced during extrusion & moulding process on daily basis.

ii. To formulate alternate formulations as per current availability of raw materials.

iii. To monitor the running of the rubber mixing processes in 91 ltrs. Herbert India K4

MK3 Intermix, 22"x60" batch off mill, 22"x60" blender mill and 16"x42" two roll

mill & to ensure that the mixing processes are carried out within the process

parameters and as per the work instructions defined.

iv. To monitor the raw materials testings performed in the lab through Mooney

viscometer, moisture balance, melting point apparatus, flash point, aniline point,

particle size, ash content, viscosity, bulk density etc.

v. To monitor the quality checking of the rubber compounds through MDR.

vi. To provide technical support to customers and to take necessary counter measures to

encounter their quality complaints.

vii. To prepare & submit online IMDS required by different customers from time to time.

viii. To carry out outside testing in NABL accredited labs if asked by the customer.

ix. To close the NCs raised in Process & 5S audits conducted by the quality team as per

their monthly schedule.

x. To ensure that the AMC and calibration of the testing equipments of the R&D lab are

being maintained as per the frequency plan.

xi. To formulate PVC compounds for car floor mats of various colours & to setup a

mixing process sequence for each compound to achieve stability and consistency in

different batches.

xii. Was involved in PVC extrusion process in initial stage of its setup.

preparing rubber compounds. It has compression, transfer & injection moulding machines to prepare finished

products. It is the leading supplier of rubber parts to Bajaj Auto Ltd. and also has Honda, Volkswagen, FIAT,

M&M, Magnetti Marelli and Automotive Lightning as its’ customers.

Job profile :

i. Formulated rubber compounds with natural and synthetic rubbers for new product

development of automobile rubber parts as per the material specifications.

ii. Modified existing rubber formulations inorder to address processing, production and

quality problems of the moulded products.

Guide Rubber [of new RE60 four wheeler] etc. for Bajaj Auto Ltd.

iii. Bump stop for Honda requiring 200hrs. of ozone resistance in NR.

iv. Dust caps, Bulb caps for Automotive Lightings[ALMA] requiring 140kgf/cm2 tensile

strength in 45 Shore A EPDM.

v. Bonded bushing, Adaptors for Magneti Marelli[MMM]

vi. Bonded bush for Mahindra & Mahindra capable of withstanding push out load of 800kgs.

3) Company name : Riviera Home Furnishings Pvt. Ltd.

Company profile : The company comes under textile industry and manufactures carpets and

bathrugs. It has started to prepare its’ own rubber latex for coating applications on its’ products.

Job profile : Formulated rubber latex compounds using NR latex, SBR latex, curing agents,

gelling agents & antioxidants for carpets and bathrugs backing applications. The ingredients were mixed in a

3tonne capacity mixer. The latex compounds, which were mixed in-house as well as those procured from

outside, were tested for their viscosity, pH value, specific gravity, total solid content, ageing resistance, dye

resistance, abrasion resistance after several washes, skid resistance etc. The latex were then applied on the back

side of the carpets & bathrugs & then cured under IR chamber and hot air blowing ovens.
