Hyperpigmentation: case reportA 63-year-old woman developed hyperpigmentation
following treatment with imipramine [therapeutic indicationnot stated]. After receiving imipramine for more than 20 years,the woman developed a bluish-brown discolouration on herneck and face [route and dosage not stated]. Histologyrevealed numerous interstitial and perivascular brownglobules, composed of melanin, in the dermis. She wasdiagnosed with imipramine-induced hyperpigmentation basedon these findings. [Treatment and outcome not stated].
