PROFILE GLIMPSE

To co-ordinate with the site departments in obtaining work permit to ensure that the job at the site is carried out in compliance with all safety rules and precautions.

Having hands-on experience with SAP-PM modules. Plan, establish maintenance frequency (preventive) and corrective jobs in SAP. Arranging resources for all instrument/control systems in assigned field. Participating in reliability study and implementing the recommendations promptly in appropriate way. Ensure maximum availability of equipment with minimum downtime. Prepare Failure Analysis Report (FAR), investigate and prevent recurring problems. Preparing MOC and implementing the changes in a time bound manner in order to improve Reliability. Capture lessons learned and best practices related to control and instrumentation technical aspects.  Worked with F&G (field & building) system. Worked on F&G equipment like flame and gas detectors and intrinsically safe control loops. Preparing method statement before attending critical jobs like MOC recommendations, on-line changes etc. Preparing SMP’s, reviewing and modifying them as and when required. Review and prepare Scope of Work (SOW) for all maintenance contracts. Initiating procurement of spares and ensuring availability of critical and non-critical spares. Evaluating the technical bidders in getting the appropriate material. Review and comment on the instrumentation and control aspects of all engineering projects undertaken in assigned field. Participate in commissioning, start-up & handover activities and recording comments on the maintainability of new plant

and equipment. Ensure all activities are carried out in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner to maximize plant availability

and meet production targets. Plan (micro level planning) and execute major overhaul. Liaising with vendor during commissioning & Start-up of new plant/equipment and during major overhaul. Training subordinates and new graduate trainees by assessing their skills on regular basis.
