UUKMA LITERARY COMPETITION-2014

Entries are invited for UUKMA Literary Competition 2014

Events for Competition

a. Poetry (about a given theme)

b. Short Story (about a given theme)

c. Article (About The given subject)

Age Category for participants

1. Juniors - Aged below 20 yrs as on 10th February 2014

2. Seniors Aged 20 yrs and above as on 10th February 2014.

Languages can be used

Malayalam juniors and seniors can write their creations but on given different

topic.

English only for juniors on given topic.

Topics for Article writing

Juniors :- Keralam Gods Own Country (English)

Seniors:- (Malayalam)

Topic for Short Story Writing (juniors) both English and Malayalam

Topic for Short Story Writing (seniors) Malayalam

See Annexure II ( Minimum 300 words)

Topic for poem writing (common for both juniors and seniors, Malayalam and English)

UUKMA LITERARY COMPETITION-2014

General Terms and conditions for participants

1. Any keralite residing in UK can participate in UUKMA Literary

Competition 2014

2. The entries should not be published anywhere else before

3. Each entry should be about the given subject

4. The entries to UUKMA Literary competition should be own creation of

the author

5. Stories and Articles should be a minimum of 300 words.

6. Only one entry for each event will be accepted.

7. All entries should be typed (in double space) in the language or neatly

handwritten (scan and attach) and email to uukmaforum@gmail.com .

Each entry should accompany a completed registration form by 31

March 2014.

8. Name, pen name or any personal contact details should not be in any

part of the entry.

9. UUKMA will hold the right to publish selected entries in its website or

social media sites.

10. Jurys decision will be final
