6.2 NON AVIATION :
i. PPT. (Rainfall, its Spatial & Intensity) and NOWCAST of scheduled twelve stations and its
erifi atio a d updati g i METNET e site & E -mailed to NOWCAST Division , New Delhi
and City Forecast of fifteen Stations of West Bengal and its dissemination in real time basis.
ii. Collection , Preparation and Dissemination of Station wise Daily Rainfall data ,Preparation
of district wise daily rainfall statistics under daily rainfall monitoring scheme(DRMS) of
three subdivisions under its control , were sent by FAX / E-mail to :-
a) NHAC, New Delhi and DGM (Hydrology) New Delhi.
b) DDGM(WF) Pune, LRF Pune and NCC, Pune and all concerned
c) District wise weekly and monthly rainfall data were sent by E-mail to :-

concerned . -- > Preparation and updating of Daily weather report and Weekly weather

M.C. Patna 1) Aviation forecast verification of Patna for the month of August’2016 has been sent to CAMD New Delhi and AMO Kolkata.

iv. Communication:- 01. Quotation has been floated for procurement of 8 no’s of 12V/42AH batteries for use in comm.section and the lowest quotation was recommended to RMC Kolkata for approval.
02. Quotation was floated and opened for CAMC of IT equipment’s. 03. Performance report of Video Conferencing has been sent to HQ New Delhi.
04. Work order has been issued to M/S Sanjukta Infotech Bhubaneswar for up gradation of
three systems.
05. Agreement papers have been signed for AMC of LAN Circuit of M.C. Bhubaneswar.

(a) On every Tuesday and Friday, district level ensemble forecast of NHAC downloaded from imd.gov.in website and value added forecast along with realized weather were sent to AMFUs in this state and M.O. Port Blair(value added forecast sent in excel format that is being downloaded from the moderated report generated by farmers portal) . Also online moderation of district level ensemble forecast for WB and A&N islands done in NeGPA (Govt. of India) software module named as farmer’s portal. After receiving district wise advisories from each AMFUs, Composite English Bulletins were issued on every Tuesday and Friday & Bengali Bulletin on Wednesday. The composite bulletins are uploaded in imd.agrimet.gov.in alongwith value added forecast (moderated forecast) on the date of their issue for display in the website .This unit also sends weather forecast and warnings by SMS to farmers through mKisan portal. This unit also sends weekly Met. Departure from Normal to Agrimet, Pune. (b) Crop yield forecast for Kharif rice (F-2) of both statistical and DSSAT was given for 17 districts of West Bengal. M.C. (i) Weekly Hydromet data in respect of all the districts of Sikkim were sent to Agrimet, Pune
regularly during the month of March’ 2017. (ii) Weekly Rainfall Statistics in respect of all four
districts of Sikkim sent to Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority, Gangtok, Agrimet, Pune, Food Security & Agriculture Development Department, Govt. of Sikkim regularly during
the month of March’ 2017.

March 2017 at RMC Kolkata and all the four MCs under
RMC Kolkata in a befitting manner Exhibition was organized and about 250 students from different
