Governor H ar ding stated that the Avisory Jouncil would meet in Jashington on Tuesday April l7 ti he having been advised to that effect by Vice President iae nd  he requested that suggestions for topics for discussion by the Council be placed in his hands not later than the afternoon of this day. llovernor Harding read letter received from the Civil Service Examiner transmitting confidential executive order suspending the Jivil Fervice l aw  in  so far as to authorize the immediate removal of any employees whose pres- ence might be regarded as inimical to the interests of the United States as affected by the present w ar . The letter was referred to the Committee on Staff.
