WORK EXPERIENCE KPIT Technologies Aug 2013 — June 2014 KPIT Technologies June 2014 — Till Date Software Developer August 2013 to June 2014 - Ford's Reverse Aid System Reverse Aid in cars is a part of Advance driver Assistance System (ADAS) domain. Reverse Aid comprises of a camera mounted over the backside of a car along with proximity sensors and a screen over the dashboard to give live video from the rear camera. This Reverse Aid system’s role in the cars is to provide real time assistance to car drivers during reversing their car, parking and connecting to trailer in case of mid- sized trucks. The module comprises of an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) connected to camera with imager via I2C bus. The ECU is connected to other ECU modules in car (e.g. BCM) via LIN protocol. The project is to develop the complete application for the Reverse Aid module according to the requirement document as per OSI model over LIN protocol. Develop the boot loader and flash drivers to flash the application over the ECU. Develop the interface between the ECU and camera imager via I2c protocol and interface between ECU and external Flash via SPI protocol to flash imager files through ECU. Implement On Board Diagnostics according to ISO 14229 standards. Handle software change requests and bug fixes reported during functional /vehicle testing. Role in Project: Review software changes, implement them and test thoroughly before releasing for Functional/Vehicle testing. Root cause analysis and fixing the bugs reported during testing.
