Clomipramine
Galactorrhoea: case reportA 35-year-old woman with a history of anxiety,
hypervigilance, low mood, sleep disturbance and somaticobsessions started receiving clomipramine 75 mg/day[route not stated]. Two months later, she presented withpersistent mood symptoms and a 1-week history ofgalactorrhoea from both breasts. She reported a similarepisode of galactorrhoea with amisulpride therapy 4 yearsearlier, which had resolved after stopping amisulpride. Shewas diagnosed with recurrent major depressive disorderand obsessive compulsive disorder. Clomipramine waschanged to escitalopram. After 2 weeks, her galactorrhoeahad resolved.
