Reactions 1371 - 1 Oct 2011 Clomipramine Galactorrhoea: case report A 35-year-old woman with a history of anxiety, hypervigilance, low mood, sleep disturbance and somatic obsessions started receiving clomipramine 75 mg/day [route not stated]. Two months later, she presented with persistent mood symptoms and a 1-week history of galactorrhoea from both breasts. She reported a similar episode of galactorrhoea with amisulpride therapy 4 years earlier, which had resolved after stopping amisulpride. She was diagnosed with recurrent major depressive disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Clomipramine was changed to escitalopram. After 2 weeks, her galactorrhoea had resolved.
