Asthma with a sustained-release preparation: casereport
Shortly after beginning sustained-release theophylline(’Theodur’) therapy to treat dyspnoeic attacks, a 38-year-oldman presented with dyspnoea, chest tightness and dizziness.Oral theophylline challenge had no effect, but ’Theodur’administration resulted in asthma.
