He provided strategic supervision and leadership for the outstanding recreational golf activities for all active duty soldiers, dependents, and civilian beneficiaries. Conducted routine operational audits, supervised tournaments, and managed diverse professional staff.

Also, he served as the President/VP, and Safety Officers for Sports Parachuting Operations for the entire Asia region (Korea, Japan, Okinawa…), Fort Riley, KS, Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Campbell, KY. Under his leadership and expertise, his team in South Korea set an Asia-Pacific largest free-fall formation at that time.

PERSONAL INTEREST and ACTIVITY: Vincent Shin has traveled throughout the world; Asia, Europe, Middle East, North Africa,

North and South Americas. He has traveled throughout, lived in, and worked in the 49 U.S. states as a business leader, educator, and military strategist. He still enjoys and celebrates the diversity of culture and richness the world has to offer.

He speaks, writes, and understands Korean, French, and some working level Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish... He endeavors to read, understand, and speak clearly “The Lord’s Prayer” in all the languages of the world.

Dr. Shin, in his youth, earned Junior Olympic Gold Medals for swimming, and numerous Weight Lifting and Bodybuilding trophies (Mr. Teenage Hawaii, & Mr. High School Hawaii), motorcycle racing; participated in numerous Tae-Kwon Do tournaments; and competed in 24 marathons to include Honolulu, Boston Marathons (Fort Bragg & Presidio of SF Cross Country Champions...), and many others in the States.

Vincent Shin, in his college years and during military career, amassed more than 2,600+ parachute jumps (civilian skydiving and military) throughout the United States and around the world, and has participated in several competitive skydiving events around the world. Under his leadership, his groups set the world record in Asia for the first largest freefall formation in 1975. He studies the world currencies and commodities in relations to price changes and effects of the economic environmental factors. He is always analyzing the PESTEL (Politic, Economics, Society, Technology, Environment, and Legal) changes of economic indicators and strategic forces that influence people, business, and the world. He has analyzed numerous past and current strategic management cases involving the specific U.S. and world companies to learn from and use information for investing, teaching, and growing. He enjoys the process of understanding and learning, and never tires from the process.He has led his graduate and undergraduate students to do the same through case analysis, and actual consulting services for the local and national companies as part of class curriculum. Dr. Shin has personally conducted numerous consulting services for national companies, and actively looking for opportunity as part of life-long learning and growing.
