Project 1: Niagara 4.2 & 4.3 Framework (ongoing) Project Description: Niagara 4.0 - 4.3 framework have built on Java 8 & based on HTML5 which makes the Niagara framework richer.Web browser has implemented in Workbench using ‘bajaui’ which makes the framework view much better. Main Features of Niagara 4 compare to Niagara AX are Visualization, Reporting, Dashboard, Security, Device Management, Authentication, UI Improvements, Tagging, Hierarchy, Searching etc. The Niagara framework 4 supports with new Hardware TITAN (JACE 8000).

Roles & Responsibilities: Involved with manual testing in this project right starting form design phase. The strategy was made for N4 new features including various communication scenarios between the AX & N4, made the several Non-functional test strategies & test bed with several drivers like Bacnet, Modbus, OPC Classic, OPC UA, CCN etc. Made various NFR setup at initial stage to validate & optimize the Niagara 4 performance with different drivers, loading the setup with different features. Used various simulator tool for this testing like BCM-Eth devices for loading the Bacnet MSTP/IP/Ethernet devices using the number of virtual Bacnet MSTP devices, ModSim for testing the Modbus TCP network. Compared the performance AX report with N4 to analyze several memory performance data such as CPU, heap, system memory usages & made the Niagara 4 more powerful compare to Niagara AX. The performance report was released internally prior to Global Release.

Project 4: Opus Main V5.4 – 5.8 Project Description: The Opus Supervisor is a PC based software application that provides the necessary functionality for single or multiple users to configure, deploy, and monitor the Opus control system. Opus provides a framework that allows organizing remote site controllers in enterprise groups and site groups. This framework makes it easier to manage hundreds and thousands of sites.

Project 5: Opus Auto Demand Response V5.4-5.8 Project Description: The Auto Demand Response services are designed to function in several deployment scenarios for meeting the varying requirements of multi-site customers. The ADR (automated demand response) is enabled by a modern EMS (Energy Management System). ADR eliminates manual intervention from the response to a demand event during Peak, Low or Medium demand load.
