(RCAR analysis). Rear crash: Comparison study for rear crash performances for (Euro NCAP)

BMR1800. Frontal crash: Experienced to do the frontal crash performance (Euro NCAP)

Model build up. Executed Variants with small design changes like Material, Thickness, Spot weld and Geometry features.

Full Vehicle Model Buildup (using ANSA) : BIW and Openings:

FE Modeling of different BIW sub assemblies according to Crash guidelines. FE Modification according to new geometry variations. Washer creations for bolting zones. Assigning material, property, thickness, part manager and checking the inter-

sections and penetrations between the parts.

Sub Model Preparation: FE Modeling for assemblies of Doors, Bonnets, Front and Rear Bumper, head

lamp, Rear lamp, Fuel tank, Exhaust, Instrumental panel, HVAC, Pedal Assembling the sub models with the BIW using appropriate connections.

Engine: Boundary surface meshing of engine components and other casting compo-

nents for crash analysis requirements.

Connections: Bolts, Hinge Connections ,Seam lines, Adhesives-Glues, Hemmings, kinematic
