SRF celebrates an Annual Event- ‘Sadbhavna’. Sadbhavna’, which means‘Empathy’, epitomizes the SRF religion –  ‘Social Responsibility’. Over the yearsthrough eloquent participation from society it has evolved into a strong scaffoldfor building long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship between thesociety and the student community. In this tradition we look forward to yourassociation with Sadbhavna’11 and establish a long relationship with you.

Last time, “Sadbhavna” was focused on ‘Save Earth – Prove your Worth’. AAVAHAN-A Call For Ac t i on

“Not vain the weakest, if their force unite”

It is said that even the weakest effort is not in vain if it’s united in force.

It is with this objective that the Social Responsibility Forum (SRF), School ofBusiness Management, NMIMS has taken an initiative to bring the best talentand skills in the country to one platform – Sadbhavna 2011.

Sadbhavna 2011 focuses on the new budding managers of today and the leadersof tomorrow. It aims to unleash their immense potential, to synergize ideas andto find sustainable solutions to challenges deterring the growth anddevelopment of our country.

“Aavahan – A Call for Action" is an appeal to one and all to join hands and bring apositive change in society.

We, at SRF, believe that our population is a demographic dividend. It will notonly drive the double-digit growth of the Indian economy but also make India anepicenter of global economic growth.

And through Aavahan we strive to make a difference by calling our youth to

Create, Contribute, Conquer!

Create a Utopian Society

Contribute in Inclusive and Sustainable Growth and,

Conquer the devils of poverty, corruption and unemployment that are cripplingour nation.

The time has come to challenge the existing paradigm, to propose new ideas, tomake a difference and to create a world order that is more equitable, just andflexible. For it is, not what we think but what we do that matters and thequestions that we need to ask are – What is our legacy for the future

generations? Are we doing enough? Is it right? Is it sustainable?

Through Aavahan we thus, urge our youth to take up the challenge - to tread anew path and lead the way towards a better society, a better country, a betterworld.
