ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Led a team of process engineers to successful migration of conventional to SPC monitoring to SPACE (Statistical Process Analysis & Control Environment). (2014 May to 2015 Jan)

Successful transfer of new products from R&D to Manufacturing units and meet 92% matured yield goal (2012/2013).

Led a team of Engineers and Technicians to carry out plant wide Semiconductor Manufacturing tools upgradation to meet new technology nodes <60nm process which consists of Laser Interferometer controlled position loop, very high resolution linear scale and encoders, Linear motor and AC/DC servo motor controls, heat treatment controls and multi axis robotic controls. Project completed successfully and met tight timeline which involves close coordination with Procurement, OEM, IS and Facilities Depts. (2008 Sep – 2010 Jan)

4% Capacity improvement by improving throughput, optimization of PM and sequential operations and reducing tool unscheduled down time by upgrading critical tool parameters through SPC charts. Successful competition resulted 450K USD revenue generation. (2005/2006)

Upgraded SCR controlled heat treatment equipment to Microcontroller controlled heat treatment tool including real time process data logging resulted huge improvement in Eqpt utilization, Process Cpk and reliability of product going through process. (2004).

Modernization of off highway transmission test rigs which involves PLC control systems retrofit, transmission temperature, Pressure, Flow and torque data logging. (2000)

Upgradation of conventional Gear grinding to Linux based computerized control machine using TCL/TK scripting language. Project involved technical discussion, design validation, safety features upgradation and process validation. Successful completion of project enabled utilization improvement from 65% to 95%. (1999)

Linear Motor controls calibration and servo tuning using MATLAB software to improve Dynamic performance (Following error)

Maintenance of Chemical, Cooling oil and Gas pumps. Maintenance of SCR, PID, Micro controller Heat treatment equipment’s.
